The Club
Curling in Kirkland Lake has been enjoyed since 1927 when there was only 2 sheet attached to the local community arena.
In 1931 due to growing interest in the sport a new 6 sheet facilities was build at the current location. The Kirkland
Lake Curling Club has had teams compete at the highest national level throughout the 30's 40's 50's and 60's,
bringing home 2 national championships. Throughout the years the club has under gone many improvements and a couple
setbacks including a fire in the 1977. Today the Club is still an integral part of the community for many curling
